Wanted to share a few photos from Christmas Day. Was that already three weeks ago? So much has happened since then.
On Christmas Eve I applied to meet the puppy, and now she’s been with me almost two weeks. Every day is a new lesson in creative problem solving. I’ve learned a lot. She’s learned a few things, too.
Slowly but surely, we’re learning together.
Can I tell you — I live for this sh**.

But for now the puppy is finally napping, so let’s back up three weeks. I believe I mentioned, I got a scanner for Christmas.
Well it’s magical. I spent all Christmas Day scanning my paintings, and I felt the anxiety that something might happen to them seep out of me with each file saved. Should’ve done this years ago.
I did all the No Man’s Sky landscapes, the No Man’s Sky travel journal, the real world travel journal, and the everyday ink journal. I think I’ll start sharing some of the travel paintings in the coming weeks. They range from psychedelic interstellar landscapes to my sister’s magical backyard. Stay tuned.

As you might expect, I haven’t had time to work on anything much in the new year, but I did at least finish one new entry in the ink journal, which I shared on Wednesday. So check that out if you like.
Speaking of which, is anyone else listening to the latest Wednesday album on repeat? Every day I get a different track stuck in my head.
As the kids say, they’re all bangers.
Okay. Til next time.
