It’s that time of year again, reader. Time to look back and look forward while the year winds down. Time to have a tiny little existential crisis and set a bunch of intentions and then just hold on for dear life when nothing goes as planned.

I felt really stuck and overwhelmed all last year, but suddenly I look around and I realize I’ve managed to wrest a new reality out of the old one, and I think I’ll be much happier here. Maybe change is always painful, even when it’s good. Does everyone else already know that?

I guess sometimes you just have to learn things for yourself.

Speaking of which, I don’t know if you know this, but I’ve recently taken up blogging in an attempt to discover whether I enjoy blogging. I think I do! Jury’s still out on whether anyone else enjoys me blogging.

I’ve spent my entire life noodling around in one art form or another, but I’ve never been much good at specializing. Is anyone else like that? Like I have a lot of interests. I got so obsessed with learning new things in the early 2020s that I’m still tired.

So now I’m learning blogging. And also drawing with more seriousness. And some like visual storytelling which I’ve been circling for a while. It’s all really challenging and fun.

If you like lofi everyday adventures, or psychedelic space adventures, or watercolor travel journals, you will be pleased to learn that you can find all of those things here. This blog also features cats and plants, some real and some imaginary.

Oh and my goal is to publish 3 blog posts per week in 2026. Thanks for stopping by!
